Dr Spiller joined Addingham Surgery in April 2018 and works on a Monday and Thursday each week. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice but especially concentrates on Women’s Health problems and Care of the Elderly. Dr Spiller is very proud that Addingham Surgery offers continuity of healthcare to patients and contributes to this.

Away from work Dr Spiller is busy looking after her three young children, enjoys tending to her allotment and is doing a part time Floristry course.

Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Claire is an advanced clinical practitioner. Advanced clinical practitioners come from varying professional backgrounds such as nursing, pharmacy and paramedics . They are healthcare professionals educated to Master’s level and have developed the skills and knowledge to allow them to take on new or expanded roles. The role supplements that of the General Practitioner, practice nurse and wider healthcare team.

Claire is a qualified Community Matron. She has a special interest in frailty and improving healthcare for older people. Before joining us in Addingham, Claire worked many years as a District Nurse in the Yorkshire Dales.

Claire works at Addingham Surgery Monday to Thursday.

Midwife Clinics

Physiotherapy
Helen Canton & Gabriel Sido are our in-house Physiotherapists. Helen runs a clinic on a Friday morning every week at the practice and Gabriel runs an extended access physio clinic at Springs Medical Centre on a Tuesday evening. Please book via Reception.

Private Podiatry
John Thompson is in the surgery on Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings. Appointments are booked by calling him direct on 01943 889288.

Warfarin Clinic
Ilkley Moor run the clinic on alternate Monday afternoons at Addingham Surgery.

Grange Park Dermatology Team
Dr Goodwin-Jones and Dr Sara Khoshneviszadeh run dermatology clinics on a Tuesday and the first two Wednesday's of the month.

Training practice

Addingham Surgery is a Training Practice. This means we have doctors working with us who are in specialist training to become GPs These young enthusiastic people are a delight to work with and we are very proud to be contributing to the training of new GPs.
